The stories, songs and descriptions have been transcribed and translated to English, time-aligned with the audio recordings, using ELAN software. There are also original paintings on which some of the stories are based.

These extracts, including personal stories, songs and description of life in Iraq in the first half of the twentieth century, have been transcribed and translated to English, time-aligned with the audio recordings, using ELAN software.
