The deposit contains some extracts of recordings of Jewish Iraqi informants in London, Canada and Israel made in 2007. These extracts, including personal stories, songs and description of life in Iraq in the first half of the twentieth century, have been transcribed and translated to English, time-aligned with the audio recordings, using ELAN software. The deposit also include metadata about the speakers and recording sessions in xml format. The audio format is .wav, 16bits, 41khz.
