Choguita Raramuri (Tarahumara) is an endangered, underdescribed Uto-Aztecan language spoken in northern Mexico. Output of description and documentation include: i) audio (wav) and video (mpeg2) recordings of texts, elicitation sessions and diverse events in the community; ii) ELAN and Transcriber transcription files; iii) Word files with transcriptions, translations, analysis and annotations; iv) Excel databases of lexical items and prosodic and morphological properties; v) still (jpg) pictures; vi) metadata including description of documents, recording circumstances and cross-reference between related documents; and vii) a doctoral dissertation focusing on the phonology and morphology of the language. Genres documented include myth narratives, oratory, historical narratives, interviews, conversations, description of procedures, ritual song and prayer, language teaching, etc. Elicitation, which includes sessions with visual prompts, covers a wide range of topics, and focus on verbal morphology and phonology-morphology interactions.
