Giva has been a traditional Iranian cotton shoe in most part of Iran especially in central Iran. It also was made in Jowshaqan in Old days by some Giva-duz and Takhta-kesh. Todays no one uses this traditional shoe, and no one makes this shoe anymore. Haj Hasan is one of the rare shoemakers who continue to make this cotton shoe.
